John Harvey is well known to many of us as the dentist. But, away from the mouth, John has travelled an interesting path through politics.
Once the Federal Director of the National Party, political adviser to both Andrew Peacock and Jeff Kennett, and Chief of Staff to Nick Greiner when he was Premier, John was even involved in drafting the NSW Mining Act; a very dark horse indeed.
Now John has had a Pauline conversion on the road to Quorrobolong and co-founded the Climate Change Coalition Party. He is heading the battle being fought by the Quorrobolong Community Council to stop mining under their community and is, first and foremost, a strategist.
