You're the 'tops' SGL- spinning nothing into a web of myths

First, Allan Campbell spun for AJ Lucas and Mitchell Drilling in Aussie drilling company gears up for big ‘09
The next day Andy Lukas did the $10bn in METHANE spin in the Herald, followed closely by another article in Drilling and Blasting - AJ Lucas delivers to CSG sector. Then of course 'The Eagle' (HVPR) landed in Scone (but kind of missed the runway).
There are others spinning as well in this despicable industry.
GasStar now claim to have the largest independently owned Coal Bed Methane (CBM) resource in eastern Australia challenging the Sydney Gas claim of being the "region's premier gas producer" (a claim they have now dropped from their website).
Spun yourselves into a corner there didn't you boys... With the share price diving deeper than your destructive coreholes you clearly had to pull that one back...
More from Hunter Valley Public Relations please. It's great reading (and a really great website from a company that offers services including "Website Development" and yes... "Professional Writing").

Update 20 December:
The use of the word "spin" (and derivatives) does not denote "lying" or "corporate misconduct", it denotes enthusiastic promotion to raise the company's profile (in my opinion, over-enthusiastic). The use of the word "myths" is in context with a regular column heading in Sydney Gas printed material "Degassing the Myths".
At NO POINT in this post was anyone accused of lying or trying to influence the stock market, nor that they did anything illegal. My personal view of the morality of "spin" is inconsequential and fair comment.
I apologise if Allan Campbell's misinterpretation of this has offended him and I am flattered that he apparently thinks that what I say on this little website can influence his career path to the point that he engages a lawyer to threaten me.
A note for the lawyer: Your emails are ending up in my junk mail folder, probably due to them being (invalid) HTML emails with a totally unneccessary PDF attachment in combination with no SPF record in your DNS and the use of totally invasive "read receipts" that I consider a breach of privacy. While I am without a fax machine due to a lightening strike and with my need to recently lower spam thresholds due to an increase in viral spam numbering in the thousands per day (many of them requesting "read receipts"), I suggest you use Australia Post to ensure delivery.
